Since, last May 9, the exhibition entitled « Contatto » has been set up in the Feltrinelli Libri e Musica bookshop in Via Mazzini, 39 in Trieste. A selection of 12 shots by the young photographers Filippo Gobbato and Teresa Bucca in the first reception centres where the volunteers of DonK HM work and wants to underline the importance of touch and gestures in the doctor-patient relationship, especially when we meet finds to interact in unconventional situations, or in full pandemic within protected structure and with important language barriers. An invitation to ask ourselves, for each of us, what a human contact mean, especially in a period of forced distancing like the one experienced for over a year. An invitation to support those who every day make their professionalism available also to those who are « invisible but in need of care, both physical and emotional.

A special thanks goes to Marco Massimiliani, director of the laFeltrinelli shop in Trieste, which hosts this exhibition for the entire month of July.
