On Saturday the 4th of March in Turin the 4th edition of the Non Profit Women Camp, titled “Reattive”, took place. The event is dedicated to women who work in the tertiary sector and it is designed to share ideas, analysis and paths, to get to know each other in person and to network.

Gloria Salmaso had the pleasure to participate while representing the volunteer organization Donk Humanitarian Medicine and commented on her experience:

“High level speakers have taken to the stage with the aim of enriching, inspiring and making more aware the women who work in the tertiary sector. The themes were numerous: from the different uses of artificial intelligence to the gathering and protection of personal data, from the technical aspects of employment contracts to the art of negotiation through activism and social engagement at the forefront.

The speech that impressed me the most was held by Valeria Taurino, director of SOS Méditerranée, who explained to the public the importance of being a leader who is good at teamwork. She talked about herself but also about senior female colleagues with whom she carried out projects and activities which saved countless lives in the sea”.
