This morning, on the occasion of the press conference hosted in the headquarters of Confindustria Alto Adriatico in Trieste, the new portable electrocardiograph NeoECG S120 was presented, bought thanks to the financing from Solidarietà Trieste ETS. The electrocardiograph will be used both in the “fixed” clinics and Donky, the mobile clinic.

Stefano Bardari, president of the volunteer organization Donk Humanitarian Medicine, and Roberto Gerin, president of Solidarietà Trieste ETS, have underlined the value and importance of the synergy created over time between the two bodies. Solidarietà Trieste is a reality active since 1999 with the objective to help the associations with humanitarian and volunteering aims, like the volunteering organization Donk HM.

The new device will help the volunteer doctors and nurses of Donk Humanitarian Medicine to complete the free healthcare services offered in favor of the fragile, the destitute and those who, for various reasons, have difficulty to access the national health service.

There are around 150 people who each week come to be visited for free in our 10 clinics with no other option besides accessing the ER.

The portable electrocardiograph allows to carry out prevention activities and concretely guarantees to everyone the Right to Health. We would like to thank Solidarietà Trieste ETS for the support.
