Sid is a small town of 20 thousand inhabitants on the border between Serbia and Croatia and it’s a passage area for migrants that cross the border to reach other areas of the European Community.

Refugee camps are accessible only to the police and to Serbian doctors, while the operators work on the outskirts of the camp where the NGO No Name Kitchen has created listening and medical support areas.

Gianluca, a volunteer doctor of the volunteering organization Donk Humanitarian Medicine, has reached his daughter Margherita, volunteer of No Name Kitchen, to give her useful material for health care: medicines, anti-inflammatories, bandages and antibiotics. These materials are all extremely useful to volunteers active in the area.

No Name Kitchen (https://www.nonamekitchen.org/) is an independent organization, head-quarted in Spain, that operates along the Balkan and the Mediterranean routes in order to promote humanitarian aid and political action in favor of those who suffer the difficulties of extreme travels.

These actions as well are a part of our medical commitment in favor of the most fragile and destitute: our gaze goes beyond regional borders.
