DonK HM operates thanks to 50 volunteers, mainly doctors, nurses and health system operators but not only, who with commitment and dedication carry out their help function on the basis of their different training, professionalism and availability, in the areas of care and healthcare, training, organizations and logistics, fundraising, administration and accounting, communication and press office.

How much is the commitment require of a donk volunteer?
Each volunteer is active according to their availability of time and according to their interests and motivations.

THE VOLUNTEERING ORGANIZATION DONK HM AND THE UNIVERSAL CIVIL SERVICE
In the Volunteering organization Donk Humanitarian Medicine the time that the volunteers make available to the community is the engine that allows us to carry out all the activities on behalf of people who cannot access the health care and assistance services of the National Health System.
Even volunteers who adhere to the Universal Civil Service can collaborate with our Association and be involved in our activities in our project “HELP – The clinic for all”, that promotes the right to health and social inclusion of fragile categories (homeless, destitute, migrants, unaccompanied foreign minors, …).
