This morning, on the occasion of the National Day in Memory of Immigration Victims, our president, Stefano Bardari, was the guest of Buongiorno Regione FVG. During the interview, he discussed several crucial topics for the association, such as the value of medical volunteering and its positive impact on both the people assisted and the community.
He recalled the victims of immigration and the importance of identifying services linked to medical assistance to meet the needs of destitute people, with particular reference to the psychological support service activated by Donk HM ODV a year ago.
Stefano emphasized how the daily commitment of volunteers is fundamental to guarantee concrete and immediate help to those in need. The interview also highlighted the role of Donk HM ODV and how among voluntary associations it is important to ‘network’ and collaborate to extend support to the most fragile categories.
We would like to thank TGR Friuli Venezia Giulia for dedicating space to these issues, which are crucial for our present and to promote a more equitable and supportive society.
