The meeting on the 20th of June is going to be a picture story of the experience lived by the Doctor Carraro in Madagascar. At the end of the evening, a debate on the topics discussed will take place, in which the students of SISM will also participate.
Stefano Bardari, the president of the Volunteering organization Donk HM, will introduce and moderate the dialogue. Participate at the appointment on Tuesday the 20th of June, at 6 pm at KNULP (via Madonna del Mare, 7/a) in Trieste, the entrance is free for everyone.
Michele Carraro is a volunteer of the Volunteering organization Donk Humanitarian Medicine, an association that gives free medical assistance to those in need in the territory of the province of Trieste. Doctor Carraro is also active with the Volunteering organization Amici di Ampasilava (https://amicidiampasilava.org/), that in 2008 has opened the Vezo hospital and has donated it to the population of Andavadoaka, located in the south west of the isle.
“La mia Africa” is a part of the events of the first edition of “SALUTE! Festival del Volontariato e della Medicina Umanitaria”, organized by the Volunteering organization Donk HM to promote a culture of peace, solidarity and respect of human rights and to be a source of inspiration to all those who want to approach health professions.
